ABOUT ME

My name is Diego Valenzuela, and I am a published author, screenwriter, narrative designer, director, and professional voice actor with experience in animation, film, television, video games, comics, and even alternate reality games (ARGs).

My literary work has been published by Penguin Random House and Amazon, while my work in animation and television has been featured on platforms such as HBO Max, Netflix and Disney+. I have worked as a Head Writer and Story Editor on multiple productions, including Cartoon Network's Villainous and Rey Mysterio vs. La Oscuridad. I have also written feature-length animated screenplays for Mako Animation, Chunca Productions, and the Frida Kahlo estate.

My screenwriting and localization work has also taken me into some of the biggest franchises imaginable: I had the chance to work as a Latin American Spanish (LAS) dubbing script consultant on major productions like Avengers: Infinity War and Ant-Man and the Wasp alongside the dialogue director.

Video Game Writing & Narrative Design

As a narrative designer and video game writer, I have worked on both shipped and upcoming games, developing characters, dialogue, stories, worlds and even editing trailers. My credits include Duskfade from Weird Beluga, RKGK: Rakugaki from Wabisabi Games, and IMMORTAL: Gates of Pyre from Sunspear Games, among others.

Voice Acting & Performance

As a professional voice actor, I have an extensive list of credits in both English and Latin American Spanish dubbing, animation, film, and video games. Some of my roles include Frank West in Dead Rising: Deluxe Remastered, Moon Knight in Marvel's Spider-Man, Battletrap in Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, and Terrax in LEGO Marvel Avengers: Mission Demolition, among many others. I have also had the opportunity to work as a motion capture performer, bringing characters to life for a major project broadcast on national television.

Outside of my professional work, my hobbies include digital illustration, bodybuilding, music, and songwriting.
